Get ready to give! On May 1-2, visit thegreatgive.org and make a donation to CNS as part of the Greater New Haven Great Give. All giving will end at 8:00PM on May 2, so make sure to get your gift in on time.
Since 1956 Community Nursery School has hosted the fair on the historic Guilford Green. The fair transforms the Green into a playground for children and families, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The little ones will be thrilled with the bounce rides, petting zoo with donkey rides, our famous little train, a circus arena and much more. Great fun and food await!

Artwork created with recycled materials will be on display in the outdoor art studio. Check it out during drop-off and/or pick-up!

We'd like to invite you to a special Rock Climbing CNS day at Rock Spot Climbing in Wallingford on Sunday, February 25, 10AM-12PM, all ages and families welcome!
For kids ages 3+, they have all of the gear needed to try out the actual climbing walls, with the shoes & harness to borrow at no extra cost.
For kids ages 2 and under, they will set up a fun climbing area and have a wall they can play around on, in addition to a tent, and some balls.

Climber Price: $25 for 3+ (if your child wants to climb on the wall w/the harness & shoes)
Toddler Price: $15 for 2 and under (babies are free)

All Nature School students and families are invited to celebrate the winter solstice together.

This is a private class just for the CNS community. Class will be a vinyasa flow (accessible to all levels & unheated). Price is $21 + tax; the more people who register, the less the tickets will cost!
CNS students are invited to sing in the Nursery School Chorus at the Guilford Tree Lighting, along with NGNS.
The Raise Craze Closing Ceremony will be held Tuesday 11/21/23 at 12pm on the front playground. The LFF ticket winners will be announced, along with big thank yous, and a fun treat for the kids who have been busy being so kind! :) Please feel free to bring siblings. See you there!

Each family is required to send one parent to one clean-up each year, unless your co-op job requires extra clean-up attendance.

Lets work together to help CNS purchase a beautiful new, accessible swingset for the front playground while emphasizing the value of Kindness. Runs November 1st through the 18th.
The classes of Mrs. Outtrim and Mrs. Johnson will have a short Halloween parade just before lunch on Tuesday, October 31 at 11:30 AM.
The classes of Mrs. Cruz and Mrs. Krischtschun will have a short Halloween parade after dropoff.
Join CNS and other local businesses, organizations, and youth groups on the Guilford Green for an afternoon of Halloween-y fun!
The Yoga/Mindfulness Club is kicking off Sunday 10/29 with a group yoga class & coffee.
CNS has registered to paint a storefront window on the Guilford Green! Painting will take place on Saturday, October 7th.
Raindate: Sunday, October 8.
CNS will be building a scarecrow to be displayed on the Green! Completed scarecrows will be displayed beginning on Friday, October 6th.

Community Nursery School traditionally participates in this annual town event and is looking forward to having our families join us this year. We understand that, due to the timing, some of you who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah may not be able to make it, but we hope as many families as possible can join us for the parade.
