Programs Offered

Toddler Program

Tuesday 12:30 PM - 2 PM

The Toddler with care-giver program introduces the concept of a school setting to our youngest children.  It is open to children eighteen months to under three years old.  This program features both teacher-led activities and unstructured playtime that gives children a chance to create, explore, and learn while building their confidence and independence.  Parents and caregivers develop connections and friendships that help build community for themselves and their children. This first school experience is nurturing, engaging, and exciting for our toddlers.

Toddler Sensory Explorers

Thursday from 9:15 AM - 10 AM

Sensory Explorers is a sensory exploration class for toddlers. This Parent/caregiver-child class will allow children to explore the five senses in a small, teacher led group. Each week will focus on a different theme, and will feature activities and materials to allow children to use all of their senses. Research shows that early sensory experiences build cognition skills.  Allowing children the opportunity to explore sensory objects, water, and engage in messy, creative play gives them the opportunity to grow and learn about the world around them.

Three Year Old Program

Tuesday, Thursday from 9 AM - 12 PM

Our three year old program allows children to grow and develop as new members of a classroom community.  They have the freedom to explore activities like art, science, puzzles, water and sand play.  Children exercise fine and gross motor skills using everything from natural materials, small manipulatives, and large wooden blocks.  Our goals for our three year olds include moving from parallel play to cooperative play, building friendships, and developing self-confidence.  Our three year olds spend a lot of time in the dramatic play area using their imaginations, as well as outside on the playground improving social skills.  They also enjoy engaging many different kids of sensory play.  Our threes begin learning early math and literacy concepts solely through play and music activities.

Lunch & Learn Option
Tuesday, Thursday from 12 PM - 1 PM

Lunch and Learn is an opportunity for our children to stay for an extended hour of school, which gives them a chance to build friendships and practice social skills during lunch.  They will also have an opportunity for additional story time, music, and free play.  This extra hour gives our three year olds a longer day, and builds confidence in separation and independence.  Lunch and Learn is also available to our four year old STEM enrichment students, who can also enjoy lunch and activities after their enrichment class.

Four Year Old / PreK Program

Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9 AM - 12 PM

Children in the four year old and PreK programs are honing their skills as independent learners and discovering the world around them through play.  They are exploring art, music, science, and other cultures and places.  There is an emphasis on science and nature activities.  Fine motor skills, including letter and number formation are developing, and are practiced through sensory play, three-dimensional art, and challenging puzzles and games.  More complex literacy skills are reinforced using books, games, songs, finger plays and puppets, all the while making learning accessible and fun. Math ideas are explored using blocks and shapes while the children learn how to create and read graphs and charts.  All of our four year old and PreK children receive Spanish lessons as part of their curriculum. The play-based approach to learning allows our children to prepare for kindergarten in a warm, positive environment. This approach fosters their natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. There is tremendous emphasis on the necessary social and emotional skills needed for personal growth and development.

Enrichment Option
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 12 PM - 1:55 PM

The Enrichment Option allows our four year old and PreK students to extend their day to participate in additional play-based themed learning that includes yoga, art, science, geography, music, cooking, and hiking.  Enrichment also includes Spanish, which allows the children to further their understanding of the language and cultures explored in the morning class. This longer day allows our students to build stamina for their kindergarten year, as well as further develop social skills while eating lunch with their friends and participating in small group activities.

S.T.E.M. Option
Tuesdays from 10 AM - 12 PM

Our S.T.E.M class allows children to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in a small enrichment group.  This class is offered three times a year in eight-week sessions.  The children explore the scientific method, build cognitive skills by answering challenge questions, and seeing how these learning areas intersect with the everyday world around them, especially in nature. Children have the option to stay for Lunch and Learn following this enrichment class.
